Kısmet is a TV-Series that talks about Türkiye. It is a story about love. Doğan is a very clever and an intellectual man. As he grew up, he was shaped psychologically and sociologically. He created his own island in his mind and built his limits to protect himself. That is why he attracts people like a magnet. Among all the boring and self-repetitive relationships, in the middle of uncreative family models, Doğan is very lucky to come across his soulmate. However, Melike has different codes, so she can never take Doğan into her life. As a young woman mentally wounded by her mother severely, she doesn’t go for what her heart wants but for the affairs that seem rational.

One day, when she questions her unhappiness and grasps the reason for all, she falls in love with Doğan. Once she falls for him, despite the two marriages she has been through, she realizes that she has loved Doğan for twenty-five years. Love is a mechanism and it works out fine in competent hands. Otherwise, love binds your hands and arms, and tears your soul. Melike is totally ignorant on this issue. She only knows the man type who worships her. Doğan doesn’t worship anyone. He doesn’t give Melike what she has been used to. He doesn’t even need to do that, because, he has a conception of a more mature “man and woman relationship”.

We witness the story of Doğan and Melike as they can come together or fall apart. Along with that, we also turn our eyes on the lives of other residents of the Kısmet Apartment.

Because, “Modern Age” presents everything so that people can either be expressive or observer, or be both. Meanwhile, people are competent and willing to adapt this age…
